We took our neighbors’ recommendation and hired Pool Stop to transform our backyard into our dream oasis, complete with a luxurious pool, majestic waterfall, 6-ton grotto, spa, fire pit, and a grand pergola. … They’re not just pool builders, but dream-makers.

We hired Pool Stop to replace our salt cell chlorinator and remodel our spa spillway converting it from a shear descent to a cascading waterfall and re-seal our flagstone coping. They were able to start the project quickly.

I had them come out to refinish my pool and I am so glad I did. They did an amazing job! There was even enough room in the budget to add a stone water feature!

That price difference can be hard to understand at first. A custom spa is designed around your property instead of a standard layout. The cost can vary based on the spa’s size, options, and overall project complexity. We look at your backyard layout, goals, and design needs as we develop your custom spa plan. Our goal is to create a spa that fits your property and the way you want to use your outdoor space.
Permit requirements can add another question to an already detailed project. We handle permits and site checks in advance as part of our project process. That gives us a chance to identify what needs to be addressed before work starts.
It is fair to wonder how often you will actually use a spa in a Texas climate. We design custom spas for regular enjoyment, whether you want a place to relax in the evening or spend time with family. While our hottest summer days are not likely a good time to heat the spa, with today’s technology we can install equipment that turns the spa into a cold plunge, for instance. That helps us create a spa that fits the way you want to enjoy your backyard.
A smaller yard does not automatically rule out a custom spa, but the layout needs to work with the space available. If a spa is too small, it turns out that it isn’t as comfortable or usable; if it’s too big it is inefficient to heat under normal conditions. We design around your property how you’re going to use it instead of starting with a one-size-fits-all layout. We also provide a 3D design review before construction so you can see how the planned space will come together. That gives us an opportunity to work through the layout before construction begins.
Energy use and long-term upkeep are reasonable concerns when you are considering a spa. We consider energy-efficient equipment as a standard part of the custom spa design and look at how the spa will function within the larger backyard. We also consider the layout, seating, and features based on how you plan to use the space. We want to create a spa that matches your property and how you want to enjoy your backyard.
